Repair or Replace? Here's How I Call It
If the problem is small and the equipment is in decent shape, I repair it — always. When replacement is on the table, the price depends on three things:
- Square footage of your home
- The type of equipment going in
- Whether ductwork is needed
Either way, you get options and my honest recommendation — the same one I'd give my own family. The decision stays yours.

Can I buy my own AC or furnace online and have you install it?
I don't recommend it, and here's the honest reason: equipment purchased online usually can't be warrantied — not by the parts suppliers I work with, and not by me. The online price looks better, but you give up the warranty protection that matters when something fails.
How often should my system be serviced?
Once or twice a year is a good rhythm — and changing your air filter regularly is the single cheapest thing you can do to avoid expensive problems later. A filter that gets too dirty will cost you in the long run.
Should I repair or replace my system?
If the repair is small and the equipment is in decent shape — repair, always. When replacement makes more sense, I'll say so, explain why, and give you options along with what I'd choose for my own home.
Do you offer emergency service?
My standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. After hours and on weekends, I take calls for emergencies.
Do you do duct cleaning?
No — duct cleaning is a different trade, and I'd rather tell you that up front. I do repair and replace ductwork, as long as it's accessible.
